FIRE STATIONS
Rockwall Fire Station #1 was built in 1984 and later named for Chief Benny Gracy who died April 28, 1985 in the line of duty, while attempting to rescue four citizens from floodwater. Administrative offices are located at this station.
Rockwall Fire Station #2 opened January 2, 2002 and was dedicated to Thomas H. Nalls who retired from the department with 41 years of service, including years as Chief, Captain and Firefighter. Funding for this station was provided by a 1997 bond election.
Rockwall Fire Station #3 opened October 24, 2009 and was dedicated to Early Bennett (Benny) Shaw. Funding for this station was provided by the 2004-05 Bond Election.
Rockwall Fire Station #4 opened October 24, 2009 and was dedicated to Paul Craig Merritt, Sr. Funding for this station was provided by the 2004-05 Bond Election.

FIRE ENGINES
ENGINE 1 - 2017 E-One 4-door custom cab pumper with 1,500 GPM pump, 710 gallon water tank and 40 gallon foam tank. This is a frontline pumper for use to fight commercial structure and dwelling fires within the City of Rockwall. It is also equipped with all necessary rescue equipment to be used at motor vehicle accidents.
ENGINE 2- 2007 American Lafrance 4-door custom cab pumper with 1,500 GPM pump, and 710 gallon water tank and 40 gallon foam tank. This engine is equipped with a Compressed Air Foam System. This is a frontline pumper for use to fight commercial structure and dwelling fires within the City of Rockwall.
ENGINE 3- 2013 E-One 4-door custom cab pumper with 1,500 GPM pump, 710 gallon water tank and 40 gallon foam tank. This is a frontline pumper for use to fight commercial structure and dwelling fires within the City of Rockwall. BRUSH TRUCK 2 - 2006 Ford F550 4X4 FastAttack brush truck with 250 GPM auxiliary pump and 500-gallon water tank. This engine is used for grass and brush type fires.
BRUSH TRUCK 3 - 2009 Ford F550 4X4 Brush Truck with 250 GPM auxiliary pump and 500-gallon water tank. This truck is used for grass and brush type fires.
BRUSH TRUCK 4 - 2005 Ford F550 4X4 FasAttack brush truck with 250 GPM auxiliary pump and 500-gallon water tank. This engine is used for grass and brush type fires.

LADDER & TANKER TRUCKS
LADDER TRUCK 1 - 2009 E-One custom cab aerial truck quint, with 100’ straight stick ladder, 2000 GPM pump and 480 gallon water tank. This truck is used for structure and dwelling fires within the city. Ladder 1 is also equipped with equipment for vehicle, high-rise, and water rescue emergencies.
LADDER TRUCK 2- 2012 E-One custom cab ladder tower quint, with 100’ ladder tower platform, 2000 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and 20 gallon foam tank. This truck is used for structure and dwelling fires within the city. Ladder 2 is also equipped with equipment for vehicle, high-rise, and water rescue emergencies.
TANKER TRUCK 1- 2004 International 3,500 gallon tanker with a 250 GPM PTO pump. This Truck is used for any type fire where lots of water is needed and fire hydrants are not within 1000 feet of the structure in the city and within Rockwall County.

MOBILE COMMAND VEHICLES
MOBILE 1 - This is a 2005 Farber Specialty custom designed mobile command vehicle. This vehicle and all of the components were purchased with funds provided by the Department of Homeland Security Urban Area Strategic Initiative grant program. The vehicle has the resources so as to allow users to communicate with all surrounding public safety agencies as well as state and federal agencies. The vehicle is equipped with all necessary equipment and supplies to allow multiple commanders to establish an on-scene command post in the event of a large scale or extended length event within our area. This vehicle is available to all public safety departments with Rockwall County as well as being available to other surrounding counties public safety agencies.
MOBILE COMMAND - 39 ft Safety (Smoke) Trailer - It comes equipped with smoke capabilities for the purposes of teaching “get low and go”, live fire sprinkler activation room, simulation bedroom and kitchen as well as a Storm Package that teaches children how to prepare in the event of a severe weather event.
MARINE 1 FIRE BOAT - This is a 2012 Harbor Guard FireHawk 24 foot fiberglass fire boat. It has a 300 HP V-6 four stroke Mercury outboard and a 5.7 V-8 300 HP inboard which drives the 1,500 GPM midship fire pump. The boat is equipped with various radios, side scan sonar, GPS mapping, search and emergency lights. It has port & starboard side electric let down dive doors.
